Ukrainian pipe giant Interpipe’s capacities are at 60-70% of pre-war indicators, but production is increasing.

The company expects to maintain this level until the end of 2023, said the company’s CEO, Andriy Korotkov. He specified that the situation with unloading in the pipeline and railway divisions is unique, and there are also differences by quarter.

According to Korotkov, in the first half of the year Interpipe managed to meet all of its production plans. “All three divisions showed growth: steelmaking by almost 20%, pipe by 5% and railway by 17%,” Korotkov added.

The general director of the enterprise recalled that with the beginning of the war, their factories were idle and resumed work only in May 2022. According to him, the increase in Interpipe’s tax deductions  and a 74%  increase in extrabudgetary funds relate to this.
