Ukrainian metallurgists paid about UAH 18B in taxes.

The Metinvest group contributed almost UAH 18B ($49M) in taxes and fees to Ukraine’s budget in the first nine months of the year. The company notes that the largest portion is income tax. During the January-September period, Ukrainian Metinvest enterprises paid over UAH 6B into Ukraine’s coffers. The second largest category is the single social contribution, amounting to UAH 3.3B. The tax on the individual income yielded more than UAH 3B. General Director of Metinvest Yuriy Ryzhenkov noted that despite the shutdown at several enterprises in Mariupol and Avdiivka, the company remains one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine.
