Ukrainian Epicentr, together with a partner, has invested €1.7M in a Polish store chain.

Epicentr K and its partner, Cypriot Paravita Holding Limited, have already invested €1.68M in the Polish chain of sporting goods stores, INTERSPORT Polska S. A., within the framework of the €10M April investment agreement, according to INTERSPORT Polska’s report.

It is noted that the Polish company will receive the rest of the amount after a positive decision from the antimonopoly agency. The money will be directed to the company’s development.

At the same time, a meeting of shareholders regarding the continuation of the company’s existence in the face of financial losses is scheduled for September 26. Thus, the company’s turnover in the second quarter fell by 22.6% compared to the second quarter of last year to €9.51M, while negative EBITDA increased 12 times to €1.76M, and the net loss increased 3.6 times, up to €2.26M.
