Ukrainian drone manufacturers have asked Zelenskyy to allow them to receive orders from the Ministry of Defense.
The head of the All-Ukrainian Federation of UAV Owners, Taras Troyak, representing about 100 Ukrainian manufacturers of UAVs and military tech products, appealed to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with a request to allow Ukrainian drone manufacturers to receive orders from the Ministry of Defense. Troyak proposes that during martial law, the requirement to pass a series of technical certifications be abolished and replaced by a simple one-day admission with probation. According to Troyak, only five manufacturers in Ukraine have all the documents and permits, but they cannot meet all the needs of the Armed Forces. The expert pointed out that the General Staff declares the need for Chinese-made DJI and Autel brand copters, which did not pass the technical certification, but the Ministry of Digital Affairs purchases them through the United24 special fund.
