Ukrainian agricultural holdings are investing in their logistics.
With its own fleet, Kernel will transport products to consumer countries and reduce export logistics costs. Kernel achieved this capacity by acquiring a third vessel – the bulker Rotterdam Pearl V. Now, the total cargo capacity of the three Kernel vessels is 100,000 tons of grain and 20,000 tons of sunflower oil per month. The acquisition of the new vessel is part of Kernel’s strategy to expand its presence in the global agricultural market.
Also, the agriculture company MHP has indirectly bought the logistics company KTL Ukraine. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine permitted MHP to purchase a majority stake in the London company KK & Sons Group LTD. This established the firm as the sole owner of KTL Ukraine.
KTL Ukraine is a logistics company that has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 2013. It is engaged in sea container transportation, road and rail transportation, warehousing and transshipment of cargo, and ship chartering.
