In 2023, Naftogaz Group intends to increase gas production by 8% compared to 2022, announced company CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov. “Despite the war, Naftogaz maintained their gas production volume. Moreover, this year we plan to increase gas extraction by 8% compared to last year,” said the head of the company.

Chernyshov noted that the number of wells has doubled to 88. At the same time, the company increased the additional throughput per well by 50%, up to 79,000 cubic meters of gas per day. Chernyshov also reported that as of July 31, Naftogaz has purchased 700 million cubic meters of Ukrainian-produced gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange.
