Ukraine’s largest pharmaceutical company has shipped the first batch its product to Australia.
According to Darnytsia, the good manufacturing practice (GMP Clearance Procedure) certification procedure for the Ukrainian manufacturer was carried out by the Australian Medicines Administration and took 11 months.
Australia is known for the strictest regulations in the world. “And the fact we are registered and have started shipments of our first drug to this continent confirms that Ukrainian manufacturers can seriously compete with the international giants,” said the head of the Department of the International Registration and Entering New Markets, Anna Pavlyuk-Gavrilova.
The Darnytsia management added that in the medium term they will work on entering the Southeast Asian markets, and that their priority areas are the countries of Africa and the EU.
