Ukraine’s government has allocated funds for the reconstruction of liberated territories.

The first billion hryvnias have been allocated for the rebuilding of settlements liberated from Russian invaders. “We are sending the first billion hryvnias from the reserve fund to rebuild the territories liberated from Russian troops. The funds will be used to eliminate the consequences of hostilities and restore infrastructure as a matter of priority,” said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. In particular, UAH 400M was allocated for the Kyiv region, UAH 250M each for the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Another UAH 100M has been given for the Zhytomyr Region. The allocated funds will be used to repair engineering networks and systems for the restoration of heat, gas, water and electricity.
