Ukraine’s GDP in January-July grew by 2.1%

according to the Ministry of Economy. The GDP of Ukraine for seven months of 2021 increased by 2.1% against a decrease of 6.1% in 2020. In July 2021, almost all major economic activities, except wholesale trade, showed growth. The positive dynamics of the economy was stimulated by industry due to favorable conditions in foreign commodity markets. Agriculture has entered an active phase with high yields of almost all crops. At the same time, the costs of livestock producers increased significantly due to higher feed prices and competition in the domestic market with foreign producers. Transport grew due to both passenger traffic against the background of easing quarantine restrictions and freight turnover
