Ukraine’s electronic communications sector increased its revenue and investment by 11%.

In the first half of the year, revenue from electronic communications operators in Ukraine increased by 11%, reaching ₴52.4B. The main components of this growth were mobile communication services, which brought in ₴31.8B (+4% compared to the corresponding period last year). Income from the provision of fixed internet services reached ₴11.7B (+23.2%).

Simultaneously, the electronic communications market recorded positive investment dynamics. The volume of capital investment increased by 11.4% to ₴8.8B, and the number of companies making investments rose from 727 in the first half of last year to 928 in 2024. This shows the restoration of investor confidence in the industry after a significant reduction during the war when the number of investor companies decreased from the pre-war level of 1,031 to 693 in 2022.

This development demonstrates the potential for further growth of Ukraine’s electronic communications sector despite the challenges of wartime, cyber threats, and economic difficulty.
