Ukraine’s anti-corruption program will ensure economic growth and European integration for Ukraine,
the Ministry of Economy is convinced. According to the Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyridenko, it is necessary to expand and strengthen what has already been accomplished in this area, to improve the systems for preventing and countering corruption, and to create the most favorable conditions for investors and businesses. Implementing this program will introduce new standards of corporate governance for state-owned companies in Ukraine. In addition, public control over the activities of enterprises that are partially state-owned will be strengthened. The authorities will focus particular attention on increasing the transparency of privatization processes and on steps that will stimulate the private sector to improve business integrity. The government adopted the State Anti-Corruption Program on March 3, developed as part of implementing the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2021-2025.
