Ukraine sent 56% of its agricultural exports to the EU.

Last year, Ukraine exported $13.1B worth of farm products to the EU, which is 56% of all agricultural exports. As noted by the Ukrainian Agricultural Export Association, this is primarily due to forced circumstances such as the war and blockaded seaports. Changes in the geographical structure of exports last year concerning dairy products is especially notable. In 2022, the sale of dairy products to the EU amounted to $102M. Powdered and condensed milk was bought by Poland, Israel, and the Netherlands, butter and dairy pastes by Poland, Moldova, and Azerbaijan, and cheeses by Kazakhstan, Poland, and Moldova. The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Slovakia became the main buyers of poultry. Eggs were supplied mainly to markets in Singapore, Latvia, and the Netherlands. In 2022 honey was primarily sold to markets in the EU, namely: Germany, Poland, and France.
