Ukraine’s national energy company, Ukrenergo, reported UAH 2.7 bln in losses.

The entity which is managed by the Ministry of Energy reported the losses for the three quarters of 2021. In the first half of the year, the financial result recorded a profit of UAH 306.7 mln, while in July-September the company suffered a loss of UAH 3 bln. The loss is determined by the seasonal increase in the generation of renewable energy sources. As of September 2021, Ukrenergo had UAH 77 bln ($2.85 bln) of debt obligations, reported marlin.org.ua.
