Ukraine plans to spend almost $4 million to mark the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence on August 24

In addition to a military parade down Kreshchatyk, air force flyovers, a naval flotilla down the Dnipro, and fireworks displays, there are several infrastructure projects scheduled for completion by Aug. 24. They include the renovation of six regional airports and the completion of a rail link to Lviv airport.
