Ukraine opened 16 new agricultural export markets last year; what was traded?

Last year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection helped Ukrainian agricultural producers open access to 16 new foreign markets. State officials note that these results illustrate that key trading partners – China, Canada, the US, and EU member states recognize the Ukrainian control system.

Last year, Ukrainian producers gained access to foreign markets for the following goods: honey in China, marine and freshwater aquatic animals and products in Kuwait, poultry meat and products in Bahrain, egg products in Canada, semi-finished poultry meat in Moldova, meat products in North Macedonia.

Work is ongoing with international partners to expand sales of various commodities, including poultry products, live cattle, beef, pork, milk and dairy products, honey, apples, blueberries, cherries, peas, beans, onions, wheat flour, fish and fish products, the foreign minister added.
