Ukraine increased scrap exports 17 times.

In 2021, Ukrainian enterprises increased their scrap exports 17.2 times compared to 2020 – to 615.7 thousand tons. In monetary terms, scrap supply abroad increased 25.2 times to $238.9M. In December, the country increased revenues from exports of raw materials by 28.7 times compared to December of last year – up to $27M. During the month, scrap collectors exported 68.2 thousand tons. This is 23.6 times more than in December 2020, reported the GMK Center.
