Ukraine has the right to demand compensation from its European neighbors if the Russian Federation stops gas transit.

This statement was announced by a member of the Head of the European Parliament delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Andrius Kubilius. “Ukraine has the legal right to demand some kind of compensation or guarantees from partners in the West, who guaranteed that transit will remain, and in fact, things are not going in this direction”, Kubulius was reported saying to Interfax.
