Ukraine has officially sent its application for EU membership to Brussels.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has just signed an application for Ukraine’s membership in the European Union. Together with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmygal, a Joint Statement was signed. “Documents are already on the way to Brussels!” he wrote.
