The largest mobile operators in Ukraine, together with the government, are launching a national roaming service that will allow switching between networks in the event of communication problems. The service was jointly launched by Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, and lifecell along with the Ministry of Digital Information. First of all, roaming will be introduced in the zone of active hostilities (Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kropyvnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions), then in Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, and Vinnytsia regions and later throughout Ukraine. “When one operator’s connection is lost, a subscriber will be able to connect another operator’s connection manually,” the operators explained.
