Ukraine has increased its export of electricity to record levels.

According to analysis from the DiXi Group for September, despite Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy system with missiles and drones, Ukraine set a 2023 record for the export of electricity – 111,100 MWh. It is reported that 60% (66,700 MWh) went to Slovakia and 40% (44,400 MWh) to Moldova.

“Compared with August, when there was very little corresponding 200 MWh supply, exports increased significantly, but compared to September of last year (419,800 MWh), it decreased by almost 75%,” analysts note.

At the same time, imports reached 23,800 MWh last month: 77% (18,400 MWh) came from Slovakia and 23% (5,400 MWh) from Moldova. Therefore, the export of electricity exceeded the import by almost 400% in September.
