Ukraine has destroyed four Russian Il-76 aircraft; the Russian Federation then responded with a large-scale air attack on Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence reported that during a drone attack on the Russian airport in Pskov four Russian Il-76 aircraft were destroyed. On the night of August 30, explosions also rang out in the Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga, Ryazan, and Moscow regions.

In the Bryansk region, a drone fell on the territory of the Kremniy EL plant, which is the second-largest microelectronics enterprise in Russia. In the Kaluga region, two UAVs fell on the territory of an oil refinery, causing a distillation pipeline to catch fire. The military airfield in Tula, unidentified objects in Ryazan and Oryol, and occupied Sevastopol also came under attack.

In response, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 28 cruise missiles and 16 UAVs. All enemy targets were destroyed except for one drone. Debris damaged an infrastructure object and a railway track in the Zhytomyr Region. In the Kyiv region, more than six private houses were destroyed by debris. Due to falling debris in different districts of Kyiv two people died, and three others were injured.
