Ukraine customs revenues increased by 20%.

In January-March, the State Customs Service transferred UAH 100.9B to the budget, which exceeded the planned figure by 1.2%. Compared to the same period in 2022, revenues increased by UAH 16.3B, or 19.3%. The positive dynamics of the second half of 2022 have continued through the beginning of 2023.

In March UAH 35.9B was transferred to the state budget, which is UAH 2.5B more than in February. The increase in income occurred in the import of insecticides, herbicides, and disinfectants (by UAH 0.6B), cars (by UAH 0.5B), fertilizers (by UAH 0.4B) and trucks, tractors, and trailers/semi-trailers ( for UAH 0.3B). At the same time, in March, revenues from the import of gas and oil products (gasoline and diesel fuel) decreased by UAH 1.1B, primarily due to decreased physical volumes of taxable imports.

Among the factors that harmed budget revenues, the department attributed various benefits and tax breaks that have been implemented during the war.
