Ukraine confirms negotiations in Istanbul.

 Security issues will remain a key element of Ukraine’s position at a meeting of delegations from Ukraine, the UN, Turkey, and Russia on July 13, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko.  Ukraine advocates the issue of unblocking Ukrainian grain be resolved under the auspices of the UN. Nikolenko noted that the quadrilateral meeting involving experts from Ukraine, the UN, Turkey, and Russia will center on discussions regarding the modalities of functioning sea corridors for grain export. At the same time, security issues will remain a key element of the Ukrainian position, the diplomat emphasized.
