Ukraine and the World Bank have discussed the creation of a new mechanism for attracting funds for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko met with the World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia. The parties discussed the funding sources for the 2023 state budget, the continuation of the Supporting public expenditures to ensure sustainable public administration in Ukraine project (PEACE), and the creation of a new mechanism for attracting reconstruction funds for the country, the Ministry of Finance said. They also discussed the possibility of expanding the categories of eligible expenses of the PEACE project, which has been extended until June 2023.
