Transcarpathia has launched a dry port with an investment of ₴282M and has plans for scaling.
A new enterprise, Chornotysiv Terminal, which functions as a new multimodal terminal (dry port), has started work in the Beregovo district of the Transcarpathia region. This terminal is a large logistics hub in the district. The enterprise’s main function is the transshipment of various cargoes, including agricultural products and oil with plans for petroleum products in the future – with the aim of further transportation to global recipients.
The terminal has a good geographical location – close to the border with Hungary and Romania. The company is expanding its production processes and intends to increase its transshipment volume several times in 2025. The production area of the enterprise is 14.1 hectares and the total investment amount to date is about ₴282M.
