This year Ukraine plans to plant 70% of agricultural land.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine predicts that 70% of available land can be sown in Ukraine this year, according to a pessimistic scenario. “According to the pessimistic forecast, it is possible to sow 70%. If the territories of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, which have huge agricultural areas, can be demined in the coming weeks, the sown area may increase to 80%,” said Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotsky
