This year, Ukraine managed to increase the export of agricultural products by 7% and earn $22.9B.
This year, Ukraine’s grain supply reached 43 million tons, up from 37 million tons in 2022, said Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotskyi. Active exports started in October. Since then, Ukraine has exported only nine million tons of agricultural products.
The volume of grain exports in November reached the highest level in five months, according to economists. They predict that if the monthly rate of grain export is maintained in the range of 3.5–4 million tons, Ukraine can fully utilize this year’s export potential.
According to updated data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ukraine exported 17.484 million tons of grain and legumes in the current marketing season, from July 1 to December 27. Last season during this time frame, 22.613 million tons were exported. In 27 days of December, Ukraine exported 4.387 million tons of grain and legumes.
