The war will not end through negotiation; Russia must be forced to peace by force – Zelenskyy at the UN.

President Zelenskyy stated at the UN Security Council that the war between Russia and Ukraine cannot be ended through negotiations alone, and Moscow must be forced to make peace. Zelenskyy called on Western leaders to support his Victory Plan to end the war.

According to him, the war will end someday, but not because “someone is tired of the war” and not through a “trade” of Ukrainian land. Action is needed to end a war.

“Russia can only be forced to make peace as the only aggressor in this war, the only violator of the UN Charter,” Zelenskyy said.

He added that if the West supports his plan, it will have far-reaching effects on Moscow, including a psychological impact that could help force Putin to end the war through diplomatic means.

“The UN Charter must work without exception. This is a process that will lead us to peace. And we have all the forces necessary to implement it. We only need determination,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.
