The United States plans to provide an additional $100M in civil security assistance to Ukraine, reported the US Department of State. The funds are to be used to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to ensure border protection, maintain law enforcement functions, and protect critical state infrastructure in the face of a deliberate, unprovoked, and unjustified attack by Putin. The increased funding will continue a steady flow of personal protection equipment, field gear, tactical equipment, medical supplies, armored vehicles, and communication equipment for the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service and the National Police of Ukraine.
