The UN has started a $17M project to support Ukrainian farmers.

The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations has launched a new project to support Ukrainian farmers with a budget of $17M, announced the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.The new project will help Ukrainian farmers preserve the coming July-August harvest and ensure the export of critical agricultural products to international markets. The project is financed by Japan and implemented jointly with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. It aims to restore grain storage capacity and supply chain functionality from harvest to export, as well as preserve the production potential of Ukrainian farmers to ensure future production continuity.
