The Ukrainian Parliament approved an anti-corruption program for 2023-2025.
The program contains measures aimed at increasing the government’s efficiency in preventing corruption in various spheres of public life, forming a negative attitude towards corruption in society, and ensuring inevitable responsibility for crime, said PM Denys Shmyhal. The program provides measures in the justice field, state economic regulation, customs affairs and taxation, public and private sectors, construction, land relations and infrastructure, the defense sector, health care, education and science, and social protection. The document envisages measures to eliminate possible corruption-inducing factors, designed to improve the formation and implementation of the state’s anti-corruption policies. The program also regulates coordination issues and monitors the evaluation for performance effectiveness of the anti-corruption strategy.
