The Cabinet of Ministers is financing state programs through the Made in Ukraine economic initiative, which contributed to a 0.64% GDP growth last year. In January the government transferred ₴1.5B to meet obligations to banks under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program. Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated funding for several initiatives to support the Ukrainian economy:
- ₴500M ($12M) to subsidize 25% of agricultural machinery costs, helping farmers to reduce expenses and boosting agricultural machinery production by 10-15%
- ₴500M ($12M) for industrial park development
- ₴500M ($12M) to support large investment projects
- ₴1.64B ($39M) for a 15% cost reimbursement program for Ukrainian equipment purchases and the National Cashback program, which returns 10% of the purchase price for domestically produced products.
In total, the government has dedicated ₴5.1B to programs devoted to its Made in Ukraine economic policy, including ₴2B for humanitarian demining. Also, ongoing support for small and medium-sized businesses through grants and affordable loans continues.
