The state budget allocates UAH 36.5B for defense purposes.

 The Ukrainian parliament plans to amend the state budget and give an additional UAH 36.5B ($1.25B) for defense needs.  Expenses include UAH 21B for the financial support of army personnel, UAH 6.46M for armament, UAH 3.74B for protective equipment, and the rest of the allocation will be spent for other essential army needs. According to the Servant of People political party, the ways to fund the budget for these needs are rent from companies that work in the field of gas production, over fulfillment of the budget in January-February, and possible external assistance.
