The second of seven ships transporting 66,000 tons of coal from the US has arrived in Ukraine.

The second of seven ships transporting 66,000 tons of coal from the US has arrived in Ukraine.

The announcement was made by DTEK Energy. DTEK expects Ukraine to receive 470,000 tons of coal by the end of January 2022. Coal from the second ship is intended for the needs of its thermal power plants. The first shipment which arrived on November 20 from the US supplied the state-owned company, Centrenergo’s thermal power plants.
