The real estate market in Ukraine is stabilizing and rent prices are increasing.
The average rental price in Kyiv increased in all apartment segments. The largest increase was observed in one-room flats, by 11%, in three-room apartments by 8%, and in two-room apartments by 3%. Currently, the cost of renting a one-room apartment in Kyiv is UAH 10,000, a two-room apartment UAH 14,000, and a three-room apartment UAH 24,900.
According to analysts, growth was predicted because the real estate market has stabilized over the past few months. It is no longer affected by nighttime shelling, seasonality, and rate fluctuations. And as a result, rent prices have begun to rise and move toward pre-war levels.
In May 2021, the rental price in Kyiv was: one-room apartments UAH 11,000, two-room apartments UAH 18,800, and three-room apartments UAH 36,300. In Lviv, the median rental price of three-room apartments increased by 6%, two-room apartments by 5%, and the price of one-room apartments did not change.
