The Ramstein summit yields the Tallinn Declaration and a US defense package.

On January 19, nine European countries signed the Tallinn Declaration. In particular, Great Britain, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Slovakia announced new packages and measures of military support for Ukraine. The main theme of Ramstein-8, which brought the defense departments of more than 50 countries together, was armored vehicles and air defense. In addition, the US announced a package of military aid worth $2.5B. According to US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin, the new package will include the Avenger air defense system and NASAMS munitions, 59 additional Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 90 Stryker armored personnel carriers, 53 MREPS, 350 up-armored Humvees, and Stinger MANPADS. In addition, Poland will provide Ukraine with additional infantry fighting vehicles and T-72 tanks. However, participants could not agree on transferring Leopard and Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
