The visit is scheduled for next week. The visit will take place during the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Denys Shmyhal, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko, and National Bank Chairman Kyrylo Shevchenko will hold bilateral meetings with financial officials from the G7 and others and participate in a roundtable on Ukraine to be organized by the World Bank on Thursday. The IMF is expected to lower its forecast for global growth due to the war in Ukraine next week at meetings of senior World Bank and IMF economic officials, the G7, and the G20.
