The Polish State Bank will finance investment projects in Ukraine.
Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) plans to start providing loan guarantees for investment projects in Ukraine, said the Chairman of the Board of the Polish Investment Agency (PAIH) Andrzej Dycha.
“Implementation of the investment part of the Ukraine Facility program will begin in the third quarter of 2024, the funds will be transferred to authorized state institutions in EU countries”.
Dycha clarified that work is underway to change Polish legislation to enable BGK to use the Ukraine Facility program funds to reduce the cost of investment loans.
“We would like both Polish and Ukrainian enterprises to have access to these funds,” said Dycha.
The key Polish institution facilitating the establishment of contacts and the search for investment projects in Ukraine is the Kyiv representative office of PAIH.
“So far, more than 3,000 Polish companies have expressed their interest in working in Ukraine,” Dycha noted.
