The Parliament ratified the conventions necessary for customs visa free with the EU.

The Ukrainian Parliament approved two conventions essential for Ukraine in order to join the customs visa free system with the EU. Ratification of these documents is the last formality before Ukraine joins the customs visa free system. From October 1, Ukraine will become an official state party to the convention on the joint transit procedure. After Ukraine joins the conventions, Ukrainian businesses will be able to enjoy advantages and process simplifications involved with the export and transit of goods to EU countries. In particular, one transit declaration and one guarantee are introduced for the movement of goods between 36 countries (EU members, the UK, Turkey, Serbia, North Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland). Now, authorized enterprises can send and receive goods at their enterprise without being required to go to customs terminals.
