The mission of evaluating Ukraine’s accession to the Convention on Common transit began work on November 23

and will end tomorrow. Representatives of the previous evaluation mission of the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union of the European Commission (DG TAXUD) and the three countries party to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure (Croatia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom) have launched evaluation activities on Ukraine’s accession to the Convention and NCTS started. Representatives of the Ukraine Ministry of Finance said that Ukraine had adopted all the legal frameworks necessary to ensure a standard transit regime at the national level.
