The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has a plan for grain export from Ukraine by sea.

After the departure of the first ship from the port of Odesa since the termination of the grain agreement, the most critical tasks for Ukraine are to guarantee the safety of vessels and their crews, as well as the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotskyi said.

“In this situation, we must guarantee the safety of ships and their crews. Indeed, our military laid a route and allowed the exit of ships that were trapped in the ports of Odesa that did not leave under the grain initiative. In the future, a clear analysis will be carried out as to what will happen in this process and, accordingly, the next steps,” he emphasized.

Vysotskyi noted that Ukraine’s state budget for the current year provides UAH 20B for insurance of ships that will used to export agricultural products from Ukraine’s Black Sea ports.
