The founder of Zakaz.ua attracted $4.6M in the new startup, Instock.

Entrepreneur Yehor Anchyshkin, who previously launched the Ukrainian product delivery service Zakaz.ua, launched a new startup, Instock, reported ain.ua. Instock raised $3M from One Way Ventures, Lux Capital, and Commerce VC as part of its seed round and $1.6M from business angels.

The startup develops Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) solutions for e-commerce clients. This is a robotic service for warehouses that processes orders. According to Anchyshkin, less than 20% of warehouses and less than 1% of stores have automation/robots. At the same time, robots are expensive and difficult to maintain. Instock, on the other hand, develops robots for e-commerce, which should be no more difficult to operate than robot vacuum cleaners.

Although the startup is headquartered in the US, most of the development team is based in Ukraine. The Instock product is primarily aimed at retail and 3PL companies that collect e-commerce orders.
