The European Act on joint ammunition procurement will be adopted at the beginning of July.

The Act in Support of Ammunition Production (ASAP), designed to increase the capabilities of the European defense industry to replenish EU arsenals and to continue the supply of artillery ammunition to Ukraine, will be adopted at the beginning of July, stated the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.

“I welcome the agreement reached between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on the joint defense order (EDIRPA), which will help member countries replenish their military stocks, increase the defense industry’s capabilities, and ensure the continuation of arms supplies to Ukraine. Together we will seriously increase our supply and help with the ammunition that Ukraine needs to fight against Russian aggression“, the president of the European Parliament noted.
