The EU plans to damage Russian drone production with the 13th package of sanctions.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, said that the EU will include restrictions targeting the production of drones in the 13th package of Russian sanctions. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that sanctions against Russia must be strengthened in the future.

EU High Representative Josep Borrell hopes that EU countries will agree on the 13th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation by February 24. He also noted that member states continue to discuss the possibility of using profits from Russian assets that are being held in the EU. These revenues should be directed to the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, but the EU countries still need to reach a full agreement on implementing such a decision.
