The Estonian Parliament on Monday approved an appeal to the parliaments of the EU, NATO member states, and other states in connection with Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The Estonian Parliament, among other things, called on the UN member states to take immediate measures to establish a no-fly zone to avoid mass casualties among the civilian population of Ukraine. Furthermore, the parliament called on the legislatures of all countries to adopt statements calling on their respective governments to support the imposition of additional sanctions against the Russian Federation and Belarus.
