The discussion of Ukraine’s NATO membership is underway.

The discussion about Ukraine’s future membership in NATO has acquired a formal character. Now this discussion will take place within the framework of the North Atlantic Council at different levels, the head of the mission of Ukraine to NATO, Nataliya Halibarenko, said. According to Halibarenko, one of the first discussions will be at the ambassador level. The second discussion will occur as part of the meeting of defense ministers. The diplomat clarified that the meeting of defense ministers from NATO countries will take place on October 12-13, and the participation of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, is expected.
