The Baltic countries have stopped importing electricity from Russia.

The Baltic states stopped importing electricity from Russia on May 22; this means the cessation of supplies of all Russian energy resources for Lithuania. After the Nord Pool operator stopped buying energy from Inter RAO, the import of electricity to Lithuania stopped. In the future, energy needs will be met by the electricity of their production and, if necessary, with imports from Poland, Latvia, and Sweden. The Lithuanian power grid operator, Litgrid AB, notes that imports from these countries accounted for 83% of all electricity imports in 2021, while imports from Russia have gradually declined in recent years. Imports of electricity from Belarus have been suspended since November 2020.
