Since the beginning of the year, banks have issued ₴82B in affordable business loans.

Last week, 589 entrepreneurs received ₴2.4B in loans under the government program Affordable Loans 5-7-9%. Since the beginning of the year, banks have issued 22,400 business loans for ₴82B. PrivatBank has provided small and medium-sized businesses with ₴33.3B in loans and has become the leader in this lending segment. State banks remain the leaders in credit support growth rates for small businesses. It is noted that in two years, PrivatBank plans to almost double its lending volume.

“Today, Ukrainian business is aimed at development and increased production; therefore, we are meeting the increased demand for lending of fixed assets, which is very important for the economy’s recovery,” says PrivatBank board member Yevhen Zaigraev.

To date, 45 banks have participated in the program, and the most significant number of loans besides PrivatBank were issued by Oschadbank (11,100) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (5,400).
