Russians are completing preparations for a new offensive with old-school weapons

Russia is trying to complete preparations for an offensive operation in eastern Ukraine by building up its air force and command and control system, said the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is noted that the Russians are training additional units of the Northern Fleet and the 8th General Army of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to conduct hostilities on the Ukrainian territory. In order to provide units with military equipment, measures are being taken to remove them from long-term storage in warehouses. Due to this long-term storage, of about 20-30 years, a decent percentage of the weapons are not in good working condition.
