Russia carried out two massive strikes on residential buildings in the last 24 hours.
During Tuesday’s late-night drone attack, Russia launched 21 Iranian-made Shahed 136/131 drones into Ukraine, 16 of which were eliminated.
Seven people were killed in the Kyiv region overnight at a dormitory building in Rzhyshchiv. Police and emergency services evacuated more than 200 people, 20 were taken to the hospital, and a few are still missing.
In the Zhytomyr region to the west of Kyiv, three drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses, according to the local military administration.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said that the second massive strike on a residential building killed one person, and 32 others were injured by missile strikes in Zaporizhzhia on Wednesday. Russian forces fired at least six missiles at the eastern Ukrainian city.
